The Record
The Other Side is the faith-inspired alternative rock side of Black River Revival — big guitars, driving hooks, and deeply honest lyrics about the real questions. If Live Like I Mean It was the country side, Ain't Done Yet was the blues-rock side, and The Space Between the Noise was the late-night lo-fi side, The Other Side is the stadium-sized sound of walking through the dark toward the light. Black River Revival isn't one genre. Different sounds. Same river.

Behind The Other Side
The Other Side is an album about what happens when faith gets tested for real. It moves through doubt, frustration, surrender, healing, and the choice to keep believing when the answers don’t come easy. These songs aren’t about having everything figured out. They’re about hanging on, letting go, and trusting that even the hardest seasons can lead somewhere better. With an energetic alternative rock sound, big hooks, and honest lyrics, The Other Side is for anyone who’s been through the dark and is still walking toward the light.
Keep Listening
Black River Revival isn't one sound. If The Other Side hit for you, here are a few more records to explore — some share a genre, some take the river somewhere new.
Not Your Typical Sunday School
Southern Rock
A gritty, faith-inspired rock record that wrestles with grace, rebellion, and redemption. Songs for the saints who've still got some stains — and the mercy that keeps showing up anyway.
Louder Than the Dark
Melodic Hard Rock
Black River Revival at full volume. Soaring vocals, massive guitar hooks, twin-lead melodies, pounding drums, and the energy of classic 80s melodic hard rock turned into something meant to be played loud. The dark may be loud. Hope is louder.
The Space Between the Noise
Electronic Lo-Fi
Bass-heavy electronic lo-fi, alternative rock, atmospheric hip-hop, indie soul, and subtle jazz. Gritty, haunting, and deeply personal — the loudest battles are the ones nobody hears.
